Dog Fight at Ballantrae
There was no competition in August so we'll try the Dog Fight again.
USGA approved handicap is required. Players will be assigned a course handicap and point-quota according to their handicap. Cost to participate, in addition to greens/cart fee, is $10. Prizes will be awarded at the end of play. Preference will be given to players in competition, but non-competitors are welcome as space allows.
To make your reservation, contact Barbara Shaw, bashaw1@mindspring.com, no later than Tuesday, September 7. Please provide your current handicap when making your reservation.
Dog Fight
Each player is given a point-quota based on their Course Handicap. The course is played and points are scored as follows: Bogey - 1 point, Par - 2 points, Birdie - 4 points, Eagle - 8 points. The player whose point total for 18 holes most exceeds their point-quota wins.

These clinics are based on the very popular "punch card winter clinics" . This series will alternate weeks , partially "on the course" and the next week -" on the range" .
Neil will play with the group one week, offering advise as you play...and then pick a topic to work on the next week, based on a weakness he saw while playing with the group!
