Competitive Play - 2 Person Best Ball Match Play

USGA approved handicap is required. Players will be assigned a course handicap and strokes according to their handicap. Cost to participate, in addition to greens/cart fee is $10. Prizes will be awarded at the end of play. Barbara will assign opponents prior to play. To make your reservation, contact Barbara Shaw, bashaw1@mindspring.com, no later than Tuesday, July 6.
2 Person Best Ball Match Play
2 partners each play their own ball for the hole. At the end of the hole, appropriate handicap strokes are subtracted and the lower of the two scores becomes the team score. The team's score is compared to their opponent's score and the lower of the two scores wins the hole. The winner gets one point. The match progresses to the next hole and the process is repeated. The team with the most points wins the match.
